Privacy Policy

Beta signups & waitlist data: When you register for beta access or founder status on our website, we collect your email address, your selected platform (Android, iOS, or Web), and your submission timestamp.

Account data: When you create an account we collect your email address and the display name and avatar you choose. You may also sign in with a third-party provider (Google, Apple), in which case we receive only the profile information those providers share with us.

Content you create: Game logs, ratings, reviews, lists, and any other content you voluntarily submit to the platform.

Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions within the app. This is collected in aggregate and is not linked to identifiable individuals.

Device data: On mobile, we may collect device type, operating system version, and app version for debugging and crash reporting purposes only.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver early beta access, Google Play closed testing opt-in links, and TestFlight builds
• Assign and record permanent Founder status badges (#1–#100)
• Provide, operate, and improve the MySaveSlot service
• Display your public profile, game logs, and reviews to other users
• Send transactional emails (e.g. password reset, account verification, and major launch milestones)
• Diagnose bugs and improve app stability
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or email address to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising profiling.

MySaveSlot uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage. Data is stored in secure, access-controlled servers. Supabase Privacy Policy
• IGDB / Twitch — Game catalog data (titles, covers, metadata). We query this API server-side only; no user data is sent to IGDB. Twitch Privacy Notice

Your public profile, game logs, ratings, reviews, and lists are visible to other users of MySaveSlot. You control whether your profile is public or private in your account settings.

We do not share personally identifiable information with any third party except as required by law or as described in this policy.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data (email, display name, avatar) is permanently deleted within 30 days. Public content such as reviews may be anonymised rather than deleted to preserve integrity of the platform's history.

Beta signup and waitlist emails are retained solely until early access is granted or you opt out. If you wish to withdraw your email from the beta waitlist, you can request immediate removal at any time.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account, waitlist entry, and associated data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

MySaveSlot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), Row Level Security (RLS) on our database, and access-controlled storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via email or an in-app notice.
